Skeletal Flower Child Nail Stamping

Hey there!  One of this week's prompts for the Crumpet's Nail Tarts 52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge is the 60's.  Since I just did some pretty standard 70's nail stamping, I went a bit out of the box for the 60's theme and did some "flower child" stamping...the twist is that she doesn't exactly look child-like since she's just a skull...

I used one of Loaded Lacquer's Nude Jiggles for the base of these.  This is 3 coats of No Shoes plus top coat.  Such a pretty, soft and squishy grey.  I do love these Nude Jiggles.  I just used No Bra not long ago.  I guess all that's left for me to try is No Shirt.

For the stamping I used Dashica Infinity -55 and Mundo de Unas Black.  Then I used the leadlight technique to fill in some of the flowers with Loaded Lacquer Dragonfruit (pink), Grape (purple), Island Punch (blue) and Mango (orange).  On my thumb I used the peace sign from Dashica Infinity -14 but you can't really see it.

The stamping for these was kind of fun.  The Infinity images are pretty large so I only used the skull on one finger and then just used the flowers in different orientations for the other fingers.  Since my nails aren't really large I was able to make all my nails a bit different using only the top part of the image, though I did have to double stamp on at least one of them.

Dashica Infinity plates have such skull/skeletal designs.  I'm going to have to try to fit another one in before Halloween while they're seasonally appropriate!

'Til next time...
